We do. Catheter insertion, removal and some clinical decisions sit with district nurses, hospital teams or specialist services. Our role is to provide consistent day-to-day support at home and to be extra eyes and ears. With your consent, we’ll share concerns or changes we notice, follow any care plans provided, and adapt our support when health professionals update instructions. This joined-up approach means you’re not stuck in the middle trying to pass messages on. Instead, everyone involved can focus on what they do best: nurses on clinical decisions, and our team on practical, compassionate, everyday care that keeps life running as smoothly as possible around your catheter.
