Nights can be especially challenging when you’re living with cancer. Pain, anxiety, breathlessness or nausea often feel worse when the house is quiet and everyone else is asleep. We can provide planned overnight support so you’re not facing those hours alone. An overnight carer can offer reassurance, help you reposition in bed, support safe trips to the bathroom, and follow guidance from your healthcare team about managing symptoms. They can also observe changes and document what happens overnight, which can be shared with clinicians. Knowing someone is awake and keeping a gentle eye on you can make a big difference to your sense of safety and to your family’s ability to sleep and function the next day.
